Indian passport renewal application through BLS Brampton

I’m looking for recent updates from anyone who submitted an Indian passport renewal application through BLS Brampton around the same timeframe as me.

My timeline so far:

August 11, 2026: Submitted passport renewal application at BLS Brampton
September 4, 2026: Received the police verification initiation email
Police verification: Completed in India
Current status: “Application is under process at Indian Embassy/Consulate”
There has been no further status update yet.

Has anyone who submitted around August 7–15, 2026 at BLS Brampton/Toronto recently received a Print Initiated, Passport Printed, Dispatch Initiated, or BLS dispatch update?

If yes, could you please share your submission date, police verification date, print initiation date, and passport delivery date?

I applied my Indian passport renewal on August 28 through BLS Brampton, and the representative told me that the current processing time is at least 8 weeks. However, she mentioned that it could arrive as early as the 7th week.
The police verification has also been completed from our side, and it was done about a week ago.
So, based on the current timeline, I think I should most probably receive my passport by the third week of October.
The representative also provided this email address for emergencies: passport.toronto@mea.gov.in. She said that they may be able to assist if you provide proper proof of the urgency.
