OCI passport updation URL not available

I am trying to update my renewed passport using OCI misc services. After completing part A , uploading photo, signature the next step part B when completed and clicked save continue got error The specified URL is inaccessible at this time. Please try after some time https://ociservices.gov.in/onlineOCI/MiscDocumentUpload I tried all suggestions with firefox, chrome, edge and incognito mode. Even restarted the modem to renew IP and also tried in various timings early morning, afternoon, midnight. This is to see if it is server issue in india . still same error. I saw suggestions to even ignore previous application and start fresh. Still getting same error when i try to submit part B which has all prefilled text based on my existing OCI and only yes/no checkbox. I also emailed consulate and bmo support india. No reply. Anyone facing this issue ? Also when i google with this error message i see few discussions similarly they were not able to submit since sep 26. Not sure how to proceed and get the passport updated for existing OCI

My PCC Is Showing Processing at Consulate Is There a Way to Expedite It?

I applied for my Indian PCC through the BLS Toronto office. The status is showing “Processing at Consulate”, but my police verification in India has already been completed. My ITA submission deadline is also coming up, so I’m worried that I may not receive the PCC in time. Is there any way to expedite the PCC process or request urgent processing from the Consulate? Has anyone been in the same situation? Any advice would be really helpful.

Based on my experience, **police verification (PVR) can play an important role in the overall processing time**, so I recommend keeping track of the verification process in India once it is initiated. 📌 **My Timeline:** • **August 11, 2026:** Submitted passport renewal application at BLS Brampton • **August 12, 2026:** Application forwarded to the Consulate • **August 14, 2026:** Status changed to processing at the Consulate General • **September 4, 2026:** Received police verification (PVR) initiation email • **Police Verification:** Completed and cleared in India • **September 15, 2026:** Passport printed • **September 23, 2026:** Status changed to **“In Transit from Consulate General to BLS Centre”** • **September 24, 2026:** **BLS handed over my passport to Purolator for delivery 📦** ⏳ **Total processing time so far: approximately 6 weeks from submission to Purolator handover.** Regarding police verification, my experience in **Kerala was very efficient**. Guys, anyone has any idea? I received my PCC in January. Is it still valid? I read somewhere that PCC is valid for 6 months. Do I need to apply for a new one, or can I still use the one I received in January? This is really urgent for me because I need to submit my PCC for my PR application.
